History of Success for the Environment
As an environmental project of Seven-Eleven Hawaii from March through August, 1998. We owe them a lot of aloha and gratitude for their courage in bringing an idea so new into being. September of 1999 we aquired our independent non-profit status.
We have been very successful in bringing people together, community groups, schools, businesses, and government organizations to raise public awareness and clean up the environment. We have engaged in stream cleanups, beach cleanups, environmental fairs, pledge card initiative, environmental education programs and community outreach programs.
